Global Affairs MA student interns with Voices on the Border

Vivian Ramos, a first semester global affairs master of arts student, has landed an internship with Voices on the Border (VOTB), a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. Voices on the Border works in development, sustainability, and with former war refugees in El Salvador in the Lower Lempa region. Vivian will be the "Special Topics Blogging Intern" where she will be researching and blogging on current events in El Salvador, human interest pieces, and areas that are of interest to her, such as post-conflict transitional justice, education, and women's rights. Not only is Vivian excited about her opportunity to grow within the organization, she is excited to get in touch with her Salvadoran roots.
