The goal of this course is to provide ideas and generate discussion regarding issues of healthy sexual climate and transforming campus culture and environment toward that goal. This course focuses on intimate relationships, including long-term relationships as well as the “hook up culture.” Using the latest research as well as best practices, students will explore ways that we can identify warning signs the signal unhealthy relationships as well as strategies for creating healthier relationships and intimate interactions.

Study of selected topics central to contemporary women and gender studies. Topics vary but include subjects such as women and violence, women and international development, women's myth and ritual, LGBTQ topics, the history and politics of sexuality, psychoanalysis, and religion.
